Arbeidet er utført ved Institutt for bygg- og miljøteknikk, NTNU. Hovedveileder har vært førsteamanuensis Olav Torp, Institutt for bygg- og miljøteknikk. Medveiledere har vært professor Ole Jonny Klakegg, Institutt for bygg- og miljøteknikk, og seniorforsker Agnar Johansen, SINTEF Byggforsk.
